What services do you offer?

We have a food pantry located at 11816 S Indiana on Chicago’s South Side. It operates on Wednesday and Thursdays from 4-6PM. We also offer free grocery delivery to select households based on need and availability. Our youth mentoring site varies by site and is available to come to community groups, churches and other organizations, find out more by sending a message through the Contact Us tab.
How do I get started?

The only requirement to shop at our client choice food pantry is to be a Cook County resident. For the youth programming, reach out to us through the Contact Us tab.
What is 48 in 24?

48 in 24 is a 24 month journey across the Continental United States to explore the many faces of food insecurity and how different communities are trying to solve this growing issue. As our Executive Director travels to these affected communities, he is using a half marathon to explore the neighborhoods and connect with the locals who are on the ground running the programs and those who are benefitting from this work.
How can I help?

Besides a monetary donation (which is always appreciated), there are several in-kind donations that would be helpful. You can share airline miles, gift cards, hotel points and other travel related items. And as always, word of mouth is appreciated.
